This Page will describe how to install and use the HS Membership Plugin:
Step 1 – Install HS Membership:
Download and install the HS Membership using the Add New option under Plugins on your Installation Admin page. When downloaded, ensure that you also ‘Activate’ the plugin. Note that s2Member version 3.1.2 or later must be installed and activated before this plugin can be activated.
For Multi-Site Admins, this plugin is compatible with Multi-Site installations. If ‘Network Activated’ the plugin will be activated for all member blogs in the network. The plugin can also be left to be activated by the individual member blog administrators.
Step 2 – Setting up the plugin functionality:
Select the ‘HS Member’ option on your Installation Admin page.
The first option available here, Login Required Page, is used to specify the page used to prompt the user to log in. This page need to be created using your page editor before this option can be set up. The drop-down box will display a list of all the available pages. Select the correct one and remember to Save the Changes after setting up all the options.
The second option available here, Blog Creation Restriction, is used to enable blog creation only for members that have a specified s2Member level or better. The drop-down box will display a list of all the available levels. Select the correct one and remember to Save the Changes after setting up all the options. Note this functionality have been disabled for s2Member version 3.2 and later, as this is now handled by s2Member itself.
